optical communication

Due to the capability of all-optical signal processing, optical code division multiplexing (OCDM) is regarded as one of the most promising technologies to realize all-optical communication. It is to the optical packet switch network’s advantage to adopt the discount wedding prom dresses technology and wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology. Our group brought out the hybrid WDM and OCDM optical packet switched network. In this thesis, our research concentrates on the network bit error rate (BER) and the network blocking probability (PB). The details of the research result are listed as follow:1. We proposed a more accurate method of calculating Bit Error Rate (BER) of bipolar system. The tradition methods of calculating system BER are Gaussian Approximation (dresses 1std) method, non-Gaussian Approximation (NGA) method, Poisson approximation, etc. Because of these methods’shortage, we proposed a new calculation method in which the impact of input light cheap nike shoes polarization state is considered. Both interference users parallel and upright with the targeted signal are discussed, derived the upper and lower bound of the BER performance. In fact, the interference user is random polarization, so the actual BER ranged between the upper and lower limits.2. We derived the network calculation formula and the optimal WC and LC configuration scheme.
